New Construction: Edlagården 2
On 22 December 2025, Fastighets Ab Marstad signed an agreement with the construction company Premont Ab for the development of a new rental building with 20 modern apartments, specifically designed for seniors, at Mariegatan 31–33.
The building will be constructed and certified in accordance with the Miljöbyggnad Silver certification standard, meaning it will meet high requirements in the areas of energy performance, indoor environment, and choice of materials. The certification ensures, among other things, good air quality, a comfortable indoor climate, low energy consumption, and the use of materials that have been carefully reviewed from an environmental and health perspective.
Construction is planned to begin in January 2026, and occupancy is expected in summer 2027.
